Monroe County Children’s Roundtable hosts Community Night for Families
Community Night offers something great for everyone – It’s free & open to the public
The Monroe County Children’s Roundtable will host its seventh annual Community Night on Tuesday, May 2, from 6 to 8:15 p.m., at the Monroe Campus of Northampton Community College.
Community Night’s theme is Hope for Trauma, and will bring more than 100 agencies together for community members to learn more about the resources available on trauma informed care, substance abuse disorder, mental health, physical health, nutrition, child welfare, youth programs, schools, support services, etc. Community Night strives to connect people with services, volunteers with programs, and bring the community together to learn, share and network, all while having fun. Community Night is free and open to the public.

Birding the Bog Programs planned at Tannersville
Join Kettle Creek EE Center on May 3, 10 or 17 for a morning of birding in the Tannersville Bog. Combine one of the most unique natural settings with one of the most spectacular natural phenomena and you get a morning of migration birding at the Bog.
Cost is $6 per person.

·Special Presentations: Service Animal Support; Journey of Care: Mindful Practices to Support a Compassionate Community; Trauma; and Healing from Trauma (Bilingual Presentation in Spanish & English)
·Naloxone Training & Distribution: Commonly referred to as NARCAN. Naloxone rapidly reverses drug overdoses. Training sessions will begin at 6:15 p.m. and be offered every 15 minutes.

• Blood Drive: Donations accepted from 2 to 7 p.m.
• Kids Zone: Includes interactive exhibits for kids, face painting, crafts, and much more.

• Student Entertainment
