GearUp4CF riders Brian and Margaret Benson greet guests. Cystic fibrosis survivor and double lung transplant recipient Margaret Benson and her husband Brian hosted a burger and beer fundraising evening in support of their participation in GearUp4CF, June 4 at Mosquito Creek Bar and Grill. The North Shore couple will be tackling the first two days of the event’s nine-day journey from Vancouver to the Rockies pedalling their tandem bike 235 kilometres from Delta to Manning Park starting June 19. Funds raised from the event will go to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and support research for a cure for cystic fibrosis.
