The position is working daytime hours M-F supporting individuals in 2 programs operated by the Society at their North Vancouver location. The programs provide recreation, leisure, employment and volunteer support to adults with developmental disabilities of varying ages. The position is open to candidates who have graduated high school, have a current CPR & FA certificate, a reliable vehicle with business insurance and $2 million liability & a valid driver’s license which permits you to transport more than one passenger. Experience working/volunteering with adults with developmental disabilities is preferred. Related education in the human services field & familiarity of the North Shore would be an asset. Good command of the English language and computer skills are also required. This is an exciting job opportunity for the right person.
