JEFF DAFLER, PRESIDENT & CEO Happy New Year! As we enter 2024, we want to share our gratitude and enthusiasm with you, our dedicated business members, who are the cornerstone of our Chamber’s success. Last year, under the leadership of our outgoing President & CEO, Denny Saunier, we completed the final year of our 5-year strategic plan. This period was marked by achieving milestones that have strengthened our Chamber and community. Denny’s four decades of service have left a lasting impact, and we’re well-prepared for the future thanks to his efforts. 2023 was a year filled with dozens of events and programming like the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival, and the inaugural Women in Business Summit and Jackson Township Oktoberfest, which not only brought together people from across the region and beyond, but also significantly boosted

our economic vibrancy. These events were just a part of our broader commitment to foster growth and vitality in our community. Our focus on creating meaningful connections among businesses, educators, and talent has been crucial in addressing regional workforce needs. Moreover, our advocacy efforts in policy-making arenas have been instrumental in shaping a more business-friendly environment. We’ve continued to prioritize networking, leadership development, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. As we transition into new leadership, rest assured that our Chamber remains steadfast in its mission to support you and our community.
