Improv Comedy

Offered by: ACT - ACTivate Community Through Theatre Ages: 8-11 Cost: $190 Create a trunkful of characters in this fast-paced short form improvisation class. This is a class for students who love to act ‘on the spot’ and for those who want to learn the skills of quick thinking as an actor. Students will present an improv comedy on the last day of class with a few surprises. Offered: Week 3 PM

Improv on the Go

Offered by: Matthew Charity Ages: 12-17 Cost: $190 Campers will learn the fundamentals and concepts of improvisation through exercises and games that help develop strong ensemble and character work. Campers will spend time being creative, spontaneous, shredding nerves and many other important & fantastic skills. Kids will be educated and entertained! Offered: Week 2 PM Week 7 PM

Let’s Put on a Show!

Offered by: Andy Macdonald Ages: 6-10 Cost: $190 In this camp, students will develop a plot and characters through theater games and improvisational exercises. Actors will then learn how to work together to transform their creative ideas into an engaging piece of theatre as they learn fundamental performance and design skills. Offered: Week 5 AM

Monster Madness

Offered by: ACT - ACTivate Community Through Theatre Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 Students will create their very own monster in this creative drama class. Storytelling, with song and movement, is included. Campers will make their own monster costumes out of paper and boxes. A short parade of monsters will be presented on the last day of class. Offered: Week 1 PM

Musical Theatre

Offered by: Jessica Zingher Ages: 9-15 Cost: $340 Campers get the chance to take center stage in this popular theatre camp! Campers will work on their acting and singing skills while working with their peers to create a one-of-a-kind performance piece! Actors will create and perform a musical theatre revue based on songs and scenes from popular musicals. Offered: Week 4 Full Day

Youth Rock Orchestra

Offered by: Davidson Violins, Inc. Ages: 11-18 Cost: $360 This is not your average orchestra camp. Students will participate in rock orchestras, playing electric instruments, work with professional musicians, play challenging and fun music, learn to improvise, and become familiar with the modern technology driving the music industry. The Friday presentation will be held at 6 p.m., so students will stay to prepare for the concert from 4 to 6 p.m. on the last day. Offered: Week 6 Full Day

Animals Alive

Offered by: Rendi Powers Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 Excitement abounds in this returning favorite session “alive” with animals! Campers learn about small animals’ habitats, food likes and dislikes, play and exercise needs, handling technique, and much more. Camp includes enjoyable crafts and science experiments, too. Digging Back Through Time

Offered by: No Ordinary Summer Camp Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 Take a trip back in time and discover the history beneath our ground. Campers will become paleontologists for the week and enjoy discovering different types of artifacts, which they will take home as keepsakes at the end of the week. Offered: Week: 4 AM

Dino Discovery

Offered by: Little Scholars Ages: 3-5 Cost: $190 Do you know which dinosaur was nicknamed “long neck” or “the biggest head”? Join us for a colossal journey into the world of dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur replica and have an archaeological dig just like a real paleontologist! Offered: Week 6 PM

S.T.E.A.M. Camp

Offered by: Mad Science Ages: 9-11 Cost: $190 Do you love to build, design, and fix things? Put your engineer’s hat on while we assemble and work with a variety of simple machines, structures and more! Learn about chemical reactions and become a young astronaut while exploring the solar system. Offered: Week 3 PM Week 5 PM

Genealogy 101

Offered by: Mark Kmidowski Ages: 12-15 Cost: $190 Genealogy 101 will explore research strategies for the construction of your family tree. Campers will utilize Cannon’s Upper School library and use resources such as Ancestry.com, Fold3, and Newspapers.com. Other US Government resources such as the US Archives and the Library of Congress will be employed. Students will also research & share family recipes and traditions. The class finale will be an artifact book about each camper’s family tree and a “potluck” lunch where students may bring in a family dish to share. Offered: Week 4 PM

Infinity and Beyond

Offered by: Little Scholars Ages: 3-5 Cost: $190 5, 4, 3, 2, 1: Blast off to a galaxy far, far away to learn about Earth and the amazing solar system! Discover all things galactic such as comets, planets, shooting stars, rockets and more. Learn about flight, the adventures of space travel, and participate in a rocket launch! Offered: Week 5 AM

Out of This World Camp

Offered by: Little Scholars Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 In a galaxy far, far away… campers will become fascinated with shooting stars, comets, planets, and rockets. Dive into the discovery of flight and the adventures of space travel. How about a rocket launch? Offered: Week 2 AM

Science in the Forest

Offered by: Rendi Powers Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 Campers find enjoyment in the natural world by taking on the roles of naturalist, scientist, and explorer. Offered by: Little Scholars Ages: 3-5 Cost: $190 Come discover, experiment, and create as we learn about the colliding worlds of art and science in this STEAM-based camp. We will create biomes from around the world, star gaze at constellations, master meteorology, investigate how things work, and dabble in chemistry and physics. Offered: Week 4 AM

Scientist in Training

Offered by: Little Scholars Ages: 3-5 Cost: $190 Take a dash of engineering and a sprinkle of earth science, toss it together with some fun and games, and you have a STEAM-based camp. Our future scientists will explore the different worlds of science through take home creations. Join us on this exciting journey! Offered: Week 1 PM

Secret Agent Camp

Offered by: No Ordinary Summer Camp Ages: 6-10 Cost: $190 This camp includes fun filled, hands-on, secret agent activities that allow our campers to become detectives for the day. Detectives will sharpen their surveillance skills and explore forensic science by decoding encrypted messages, allowing them to crack the codes to become super sleuths. Offered: Week: 5 PM

STEM for Young Minds

Offered by: No Ordinary Summer Camp Ages: 6-8 Cost: $190 This camp engages young minds through a variety of activities by using science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
