A Focus on Ovarian Cancer

It is estimated that 2,800 Canadians were diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2015, and 1,750 died from the disease. Today, only 45% of Canadian women diagnosed with ovarian cancer will survive at least 5 years after their diagnosis. More research is needed to detect ovarian cancer earlier and improve treatment.
