In memory of

Cynthia Motowylo

known to many as Cynthia Huculak (her married name) July 27, 1964 ~ December 23, 2005 Today we share a poem in honour and loving reflection of a life full of heart and a laughter that once filled every room. Twenty years have passed since you left us, and your daughters miss you dearly. Everlasting Light Twenty years have come and gone, a lifetime in the breeze, Since you left this earthly realm, beneath the silent trees. They say that time will heal the ache, and gently ease the pain, Yet in our hearts, the void you left still feels so real again. For nothing loved is ever lost, you are not truly gone, Your spirit whispers in the wind, from twilight until dawn. We see your smile in memories, your strength in all we do, A guiding light that shapes our lives, a legacy of you. The days roll on, the seasons turn, the world keeps moving fast, Yet every milestone reached, each year that has passed, Reminds us of the love you gave, a gift beyond compare, And though we miss your gentle touch, your presence still is there. Our hearts are both broken and whole, a tapestry of tears and joy, We cherish all the time we had, with nothing to destroy The bond we share, for neither time nor space, nor even death can part, The mother who lives forever, safely in our hearts. We’ll carry on and make you proud, as you would want us to do, And when our journey here is done, we’ll run to you. Until that day, we’ll keep your love, a flame that flickers bright, For you are still our dearest Mom, our everlasting light. — With love always, from your girls XO

In loving memory of

January 23, 1945 ~ December 24, 2001 Dad and Papa It’s been 24 years since you were taken away, In our hearts, you will always stay. Dad, so many images come to mind Whenever we speak your name, It seems without you in our lives, Things have never been the same. Dad, some days we hear your voice and turn to see your face, Yet in our turning, it seems the sound has been erased. Oh Dad, if we could turn back time and once more hear your voice, We’d tell you that out of all dads, you’d still be our first choice. Please always know we love you, and no one can take your place, Years may come and go, but your memory will never be erased. We love you and miss you, Dad/Papa. ’Til we meet again. Love always, Mary Jane, Mark, Cody, Tia Michael, Kim, Justin, Nicholas
