Q.
Do you fix Zippers and Hem things?
A:
Yes, we do! Jeans and natural fibers (ie: ( cotton, rayon, linen) items should be pre-shrunk before having them hemmed to avoid surprises. We are happy to have you try on your items at our shop to measure the correct length. If you wish to measure for a certain shoe height, being the shoes with you. Please do not wear them in, especially in the winter, so that we can keep our floor clean for wedding gowns. Zippers often do not need to be replaced. Bring in your item to have the zipper assessed. Most times it is an easy and quick replacement of the slider that is needed. All items should be brought in clean and free of any fragrance. How far in advance should we book our school-break vacation?
A:
There is no concrete answer to this t question. On certain occasions we w have been asked to book one day or o one week before a school break and lucked out finding both suitable airfares l and accommodations at a destination of choice. However, generally speaking this is the exception and you risk disappointment by leaving travel plans to the proverbial one-yard line. Travel demand is exceptionally high now and prudent travellers are snapping up choice hotels and flights to destinations that are typical favourites of school aged kids. Even the Easter break period is filling fast to destinations like the Caribbean, Jamaica, Disney properties, Hawaii, etc. Travel is a key supply and demand business. The world economy has picked up significantly over the last few years. Many people who have put off vacationing for several years are now getting the urge to see the world and are eager to enjoy the education and enjoyment that travel offers. Trips to exciting and safe destinations will be life-long memories. Travel is a terrific investment for all families. Don’t miss out by procrastinating!
