Organized by the Pro Loco Muggia In the city of Trieste where in 1984 was held the first American Football championship. And with the cooperation of: Trieste City, Muggia City, Fidaf, Aiafa and Friuli Venezia Giulia Tourism board.

This educational sport event is intended for Italian players and amateurs as well as those from other European countries such as Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Spain and United Kingdom. The purpose of this initiative is to give the opportunity to the European American Football players to increase their technical and tactical knowledge by transferring many secrets of this sport on the field and in the classroom. There is also an important social-cultural component in trying to bring all the athletes with the same passion and from different countries together. The didactic content will be handled, in collaboration with FIDAF (Federazione Federazione Italiana di American Football), by US coaches and/or players who have been involved during their careers in the NFL (National Football League) and in with the main American Colleges Colleges.

The players participating in the CAMP will be working under the responsibility of a top level Technical Staff. LAMONT WARREN RB, has played for the Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, Detroit Lions (8 years in NFL) and also for the Colorado University KRIS HAINES WR, has played for the Chicago Bears And Notre Dame University. He became Joe Montana’s favorite receiver and with whom he entered the Hall Of Fame Of The Cotton Bowl’s. MATT JOYCE OG/OT has a 10 years career in the NFL. He has played for the Dallas and Seattle Seahawks. From 1997 to 2000 he has played for the Arizona Cardinals and from 2000 to 2004 with the Detroit Lions with which he ended his career as a professional. SHAUN GAYLE CB/FS, has played for the CHICAGO BEARS with which he won the Super Bowl in 1985. He holds the record for the shortest punt return (5 yds) in the TD. Today he works as a television commenter and analyst of the NFL ‘s matches at the Sky Sport UK channel.



QUENTIN CORYATT LB has played for the Indianapolis Colts and for the Dallas Cowboys. (7 years in NFL) and also for the Texas A&M Aggies. SAM ROGERS LB has played for the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers and for the Atlanta Falcons. During his ten-year professional career he has realized 30 sacks and more than 300 tackles. GIORGIO LONGHI IFAF responsible for the technical development of Italian coaches. He was given the task to edit the “European Registry of American Football Coaches” and to realign the qualifications of each member nation to those specified in a plan provided by IFAF’s technicians. EMERY MOORHEAD TE, has played for the NEW YORK GIANTS, DENVER BRONCOS and CHICAGO BEARS with which he won the Super Bowl in 1985. Moorehead played college football at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he captained the 1976 Big 8 champion Buffalos. MIKE SINGLETARY LE, has played for CHICAGO BEARS with which he won the Super Bowl in 1985 AND was known as "The Heart of the Defense" for the Chicago Bears' Monsters of the Midway in the mid1980s. On January 18, 2011, Singletary confirmed that he had agreed to join the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff as the Linebackers Coach/Assistant to the Head Coach.

Between karst lands and sea This is border country, with the Adriatic on one side and a stark karst promontory on the other. The land is characterised by the scents and colours of the Mediterranean maquis, intensified by the bracing air of the Bora wind wind. Mitteleurope tinged with blue There is a special kind of air right up here in the easternmost corner of the Upper Adriatic, here in this blue blue-tinged Mitteleuropean city, where great literary figures such as James Joyce, Italo Svevo and Umberto Saba drew inspiration. Trieste is a place that seems to embrace the sea, or rather, to welcome the sea into the heart of the city. Piazza dell'UnitĂ is one of the loveliest and biggest sea-front city squares in the world. A question of style The wealth of architectural styles in the palaces in Trieste is remarkable: Neoclassical, Art Nouveau, Eclectic and Baroque, coexisting in a harmonious blend with Roman remains, eighteenth century buildings and Hapsburg style buildings. Mixture of religions The mixture of religions is evident as soon as you arrive in the city, which, for many centuries, has had (amongst others) a Greek Orthodox Church, a Serbian Orthodox Church, a Synagogue, a Lutheran Evangelical Church and, the oldest of all, a Swiss Evangelical Chu Church. The aroma of coffee The people of Trieste have got a real passion for coffee and coffee-drinking drinking rituals. This passion dates back a long way, and wh when you go into some of the beautiful old cafes it's like stepping into another literary age. Love of the sea ', in local slang - are frequented all the year round, for sunbathing, swimming People here love going to the sea, and the beach resorts - or 'bagni', or just strolling. The flavours of Slavic and Germanic cooking Vitovska' and eat cakes and sweets of Slavic or Germanic origin, jota soups and In the traditional osmizze restaurants you can drink 'Terrano' and 'Vitovska seafood dishes: a whole world of cooking to be discovered. The surrounding area The coastline is characterised by white cliffs and rocks,, with little bays and footpaths through the Mediterranean vegetation. Miramare and Duino have castles directly on the sea front. The karst promontory, as well as having unmistakable colours,, traditions and flavours, also has a number of unique natural attractions, such as the Grotta Gigante, the biggest cave visitable by tourists in the world. Nature reserves include the Miramare sea reserve, the cliff area of Duino,, Val Rosandra, and the Lanaro and Orsario mountains. The picturesque Istrian-Venetian town Muggia is known for its artistic treasures and excellent cooking.
