CHURCH PARTNERSHIP MODEL

Church partners provide the facility and related cost and assist with scholarship funds to help reach lower income families. Church partners also help with community and school outreach to drive enrollment.

Skylark handles all operational aspects of the camp while partnering with church leaders to maximize relationship opportunities with the families and opportunities to connect them more deeply into the church. The Skylark Camp Director leads the camp and remains integrated in the church year round, ministering to families and cultivating relationships with local schools. We seek to hire at least 50% of the camp staff from the local church to make this integration even more seamless. Skylark also provides start up funding ($120,000) and additional scholarship funds.
