Mackenzie Dupre! Spotlight on

Mackenzie first learned about CAMP through her disability education class at her university, gaining confidence by serving as an Activity Pal before moving into other programs. She says, “Once I started volunteering and experienced the magic of CAMP, I was inspired by the joy it brings to campers, families, volunteers, and employees alike, and I wanted to keep attending sessions to experience more of that.”

She has since volunteered at almost every school year program in the last few months! Mackenzie’s favorite activity at CAMP is canoeing because it’s a peaceful break from being on the move. She says, “I’m thankful for everyone I’ve met through CAMP so far for their guidance and support, and I hope to keep coming back to sessions as long as I can!”
