Dear Ivars, dear Camille, I write to both of you with some thoughts after your presentation in the Riga Photography Bienniale symposium. I already expressed my thanks to all participants, including you in another email which you received. But I also wanted to say that I was deeply disappointed with your presentation at the Symposium. In my opinion it was messy, chaotic and totally unprepared act which left not only me but also most of the audience questioning what was the message you wanted to give with that (or if there was any)? I believe art can be absurd and full of provocations and paradoxes yet at this particular case it just seemed you both didn’t know what you were doing which I see as a kind of a disrespect towards my work and the time and energy I have spent during the last 4-5 months when inviting and supporting you. Therefore I would appreciate if you could provide me with a commentary on the work you did for this Symposium as well as how you see your so called performance related to the whole event?
