THE VOICE OF GORDON’S®
At Gordon’s®, we believe the key to success begins with the kind of honesty and respect you’d expect not only from a partner, but from a friend. This spirit defines the conversational tone of Gordon’s communications. For instance, it’s OK to use contractions like “it’s” instead of “it is.” And it’s OK to start a sentence with “And.” By using the vernacular of our customers, we show them that they’re not talking to a company – they’re talking with the employee-owners of PBI-Gordon.
The starting point and go-to reference for all Gordon’s communications is the Associated Press Stylebook. You’ll find their rules straightforward and universally accepted. But our goal is still to protect and build the Gordon’s brand, so don’t consider AP Stylebook rules as gospel. We’ve listed some common exceptions on the following page, and again, don’t hesitate to call the PBI-Gordon Marketing and Communications department at 800.821.7925 if you have any questions.
