After turning it on, I distorted my camera angles to catch these luminous shapes inside. I could then make the colours clash and pop even more off the page once I edited it These images turned out well, so I decided to include them as part of my Final Outcomes

As the study continued, I learned about Dancing Girls who had radium painted into their clothing so they would glow in the dark while dancing I thought the large pieces of white fabric spinning against a black background had a haunting feel Although I enjoyed trying out more literal and realistic drawings, I decided to give an abstract style a go

My tutor was a great help in giving me many methods and approaches to try out I coated textured string in paint, placed it down in spirals on a black card, and applied pressure with a piece of paper I dragged the string out while holding it down, leaving me with elegant shapes Some of the time Using paint pens I drew swirls, enhancing the shape The scale was small since I repeated this method on size A3 until it worked I used my camera to zoom in on the successful ones After that, I again used the Photo Editor app, where I experimented with overlaying and fading the images together Although many of my drawings and methods didn't turn out as I had hoped, they helped me to develop the final pieces.

I am located in the UK, so this course has made it possible to continue learning and producing art wherever I am For example, I travelled to Germany to visit family, and I went to Scotland to see my best friend My future plans are open I definitely want to pursue creative work in the future While taking this course, I'm working part-time as a Virtual Creative Designer I would like to show my art on social media, perhaps combining my love of art and my work experience

Although the scheduling varied and can suit a range of personal needs, the final deadline for qualifying is in June because of moderator visits.

Reminder for all students to check their personal study schedules for the Summer Term. Deadline for final year students graduating Summer 2023 will be Friday 9th June.
