Welcome to the 2018 OBSTETRICS and GYNAECOLOGY catalogue Here you will find new and forthcoming titles, representing the highest level of clinical practice and translational research. Our highlights this year include a new edition of the major work High-Risk Pregnancy: Management Options [page 3], published in print and online editions. The content of the online version will be continuously reviewed and updated, and is available for purchase on a subscription basis, either with or without the print edition. This is backed-up by a very strong list of new titles and new editions in maternal-fetal medicine. We are delighted to be publishing the third editions of the PROMPT Course Manual [page 7], in collaboration with the PROMPT Maternity Foundation, and Basic Practical Skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Participant Manual [page 18], in collaboration with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In-Vitro Fertilization: The Pioneers’ History [page 12] is an informal memoir from many of those involved with the development of IVF, published to coincide with Louise Brown’s 40th birthday this year. Finally, I wanted to highlight Quality and Safety in Women’s Health [page 15], a major new book on the implementation of quality and safety initiatives aimed at everyone delivering healthcare to women. In this catalogue we have also included a selection of some of our most popular titles from recent years. Our publications are available in a variety of formats, including ebooks and print, as well as online collections for institutional purchase via our publishing service University Publishing Online, which incorporates the Cambridge Books Online platform.
