You’re invited to join us for Camberwell Junction’s annual Christmas Family Day on Saturday, December 7.

The precinct will offer a range of entertainment including photos with Santa, live music, roving circus acts, and our popular rides on the antique fire truck. Visitors will also have the chance to win $500 to spend in Camberwell Junction by participating in our annual competition, Where’s Rudolph?

Our Christmas Family Day is put on by local traders as a way to say thank you to the community for their support throughout the year.

Camberwell Culinary Awards

This year our third annual Camberwell Culinary Awards took place to celebrate food and dining in Camberwell Junction. Members of the public voted for their favourite food venues for the chance to win $500 to spend in the precinct. Congratulations to the winning traders in each category: Best coffee: Provence Artisan Bakers; Best brunch: Provence Artisan Bakers; Best Sweet Treat: Glenferrie Crepe Cafe Camberwell; Best Drinking Spot: La Cabra; Best Casual Dining: Con Noi Italian Trattoria; Best Fine Dining: Franco-Belge; Best Takeaway: Chargrill Charlie’s; and Best Healthy Option: Boost Juice.

Kylie And Dannii Day

We held Kylie and Dannii Day on October 20 to celebrate the Minogue sisters and their connection to Camberwell. Held at the Rotary Camberwell Sunday Market, the event featured live entertainment, music, lip-sync performances, trivia, a fashion parade, a puppy parade, and more. Thank you to everyone who attended – it was a wonderful celebration that brought the community together.

Halloween

On October 26 we celebrated Halloween in Camberwell Junction which featured a range of activities including face painting, arts and crafts, food tastings, live music, and The Petrifying Pumpkin Hunt. It was a wickedly fun day, and we invite you to join us again next year.

Footy Frenzy

To get into the AFL Grand Final spirit, we hosted a Footy Frenzy event on September 25 and 26 at Camberwell Place shopping centre. Hawthorn Football Club player Conor Nash joined the skills circuit which featured handball targets, training cones and a kick coaching net. It was a fun day out for children, and accompanying adults enjoyed a free coffee from Rex Espresso.
