“We have been a Calvert family since the summer of 2019 after moving from Durham, NC. We moved for Jen’s position at Johns Hopkins Medicine. We grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Alex was initially anxious about starting Ninth Age at a new school. He quickly settled in and came home with all smiles and a list of new friends after the first day. We appreciated the teachers checking in on him during the first month. We highly recommend that you contact at least one family in this directory. Through the directory and other Calvert events, we have met a wonderful group of parents. Our Calvert community was critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. We supported each other emotionally through SMS and video group chats, and benefited from the shared resources and reminders.”
