LENS
Turenne works with each service puppy until they are about one year old. Then, they go back to Burnaby, B.C.
Turenne says it’s quite common for people to stop her and ask to pet Bronx. She says she usually obliges, as long as he minds his manners and sits down first.
Turenne’s main responsibilities include teaching basic puppy manners and teaching Bronx how to walk nicely on a leash.
Although they spend their days helping a person in need, Turenne says dogs like Bronx “are just normal dogs.” They look forward to meals, walks and pets from their owner like all dogs do. calgaryjournal.ca
