The Bursary Fund We are convinced that every boy has the potential to embody our exceptional values and develop good character, capable of making a deep and enduringly positive impact on the world around them. We are determined that economic hardship must not be a barrier to entry. Our school has a rich history of supporting boys whose families would not otherwise have the means to consider a Caldicott education.
Caldicott has a rich history of supporting boys through bursary places. We take pride in continuing this important work to foster an environment where every talented boy has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Our Objectives Whilst we are proud to have supported so many boys in the past, there is more work to be done. Each year, we have to turn away more than ten families who enquire about bursaries due to a lack of money available in our Bursary Fund. In the coming years, the Foundation is committed to doing our best to meet this need and making an even bigger impact in our community. But we cannot do this important work without your help.

We are committed to providing a seamless entry into Caldicott for our Transformational Bursary families and therefore feel it is appropriate that these awards cover 120% of fees, ensuring families do not need to worry about uniforms and extras. With an ever-growing demand for assistance and a burgeoning number of applications each year, we will only achieve our goals and meet this need with the help of our donors. Without this support, these life-changing bursaries would not be possible.
Impact of Transformational Bursaries As parents, we could not have been more grateful for the opportunity our son had, which was positive for the whole family. We are delighted that Caldicott is committed to supporting more boys from diverse backgrounds to benefit from the excellent education it can provide. It was great to meet new people who shared similar interests with me but also helped me to discover and learn new things about myself. Looking back on it, it was an incredibly fun experience that taught me so many things and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to attend such a fine school.

Gift Aid & Tax Relief If you are a UK taxpayer and pledge by Gift Aid, the Caldicott Foundation can increase your gift by 25% by reclaiming tax from HMRC, at no additional cost to you or us. The tables below show how Gift Aid can greatly increase the total donation that the Caldicott Foundation receives. It also shows how tax relief can reduce the net cost of the donation to you (for those paying the higher or high rate tax at 40% or 45%).
