Aveer ADVANTAGE Series

Shock-Absorbing Design with Unprecedented Fall Protection Up to 12’

Aveer PLATINUM Series

Superior durability, weather resistance and impact attenuation are the hallmarks of the Advantage Series.

The Aveer Platinum Series weighs 36 pounds and has been constructed with a full 1 inch thick, vulcanized colored top layer making it the most robust tile available.

Aveer Advantage is manufactured using 100% virgin SBR. Our vulcanized SBR compounds are 6 times stronger than conventional tiles made from recycled rubber.

Aveer Platinum has been engineered with a unique impact absorbing under-layer. Performing like a series of interdependent shock-absorbing springs, the hollow-cavity support columns evenly displace the impact of a fall resulting in the highest safety performance of any playground tile.

Aveer Advantage is manufactured using the latest in injection molding technology, providing a significant improvement in product design by allowing the Advantage Series to be much lighter in comparison to conventional tiles. At 21 pounds and 3 inches thick, Aveer Advantage is a lighter version of the Platinum Series designed to provide a more economical option for lower fall height requirements.

The Platinum Series’ virtually indestructible wear layer is designed for the toughest playground environments, and with HIC scores under 300, you can be assured that Aveer will comply with safety standards for the life of the playground.

,, A cost-effective, wheelchair-accessible solution without the price tag!

I was really quite taken back with how easy it was to retrofit our existing loose-fill surface. I was equally surprised with the amazing effect that the changes had on the surface. Even though it is now firm, stable and accessible, it feels much more resilient and we hardly ever have to maintain it. I have never seen anything quite like this.

How Do I Know Which Playground Surfacing is Safe?

80

In order to determine whether a protective surface is suitable for use under playgrounds, stringent testing is used to measure the likelihood of a head injury arising from a fall.

60

HIC, or Head Injury Criterion, is a score that is measured by a device, which is dropped from different heights onto the protective surface below. Manufacturers of playground protective surfacing analyze the results of testing to determine the HIC scores and safety ratings of their products. Higher HIC scores indicate a higher likelihood of injury occurrence.

Rubberecycle has manufactured all of its products to perform well below the 1000 HIC maximum limit.

At 1000 HIC the likelihood of no injury occurring is nearly zero percent.

At 1000 HIC the likelihood of a traumatic head injury is nearly 100%.

At 1000 HIC the likelihood of loss of consciousness is up to 90%.

In the interest of public safety, the International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association or IPEMA, provides a certification program for public play equipment and surfacing materials. IPEMA’s certification program validates products that comply with certain play equipment and surfacing related standards. Only products that comply with specific standards, and have been certified, can bear the IPEMA certification seal.
