BX, Inc. (DBX) started as an electrical contracting company in 1964 when founder, Jim R. Perry, recognized the importance and future growth opportunity in the roadway electrical business. The company soon began to specialize in designing and installing traffic signals, street lighting, and runway lighting. By 1994, DBX started recognizing the importance of moving into fiber optics, wireless technology and traffic management centers. They began following the integration of these rapidly expanding technologies as

they robustly transitioned into the cutting-edge world of intelligent transportation systems. Now, with nearly 60 years of experience, DBX has the knowledge, capability, and dedicated team members to install, maintain, renovate and repair all intelligent transportation systems (ITS) configurations.
