Have You Heard About Aggie Classrooms?

stablished by the UC Davis Student Alumni Association (SAA) in 2008, UC Davis’ Aggie Classrooms began when a few Aggie-alumni teachers wanted to help inspire their students to dream about attending a four-year university. The Aggie Classrooms program has now reached nearly 20 elementary schools in low-income neighborhoods. Through the program, UC Davis students give a first-hand presentation about college life and answer any questions the elementary school students have. Participating classrooms also receive UC Davis posters, pennants, stickers and SAA t-shirts. “The Aggie Classrooms program inspires children in underserved communities to get excited about college,” said Aggie
