MBD: Girl Edition 2019 MIGHTY, BRILLIANT, AND DETERMINED
girls from across our region found support and encouragement at two unique events held on the GPS campus—The Girls’ Holiday Marketplace in December 2018 and the 24Hour Generator in March 2019. More than 50 girl-powered booths lined the main gym as young vendors from private and public schools, ages 7-17, sold their products to throngs of customers at the Holiday Marketplace. Then middle school students participated in design-thinking challenges at the 24Hour Generator, where they tackled real-world problems presented to them by actual business owners and nonprofits. So impressed were some of the presenters, that they initiated follow-up sessions with their teams to solicit more ideas to implement.

To everyone who supported #girlpreneurs through MBD: GIrl Edition, thank you for attending, shopping, volunteering, donating, and sponsoring our events. This success of this program depends on the generous support of people like you!
