Vietnam: National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy approved

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the National Strategy for Climate Change Adaptation, which was designed to have four specific objectives. One of these objectives is to sets out a target of transforming Vietnam into a low-carbon economy, with green growth becoming a mainstream of sustainable development. The strategy, which also covers 10 strategic tasks, says that climate change adaptation is a vital issue for Vietnam.
