A múlt új színei címmel megjelent felvételen Händel, Bach, Vivaldi és mások zenéjét szaxofonharmonika átiratokban szólaltatták meg. A régmúlt komponistái iránti legnagyobb tisztelettel nyúltak a kiválasztott művekhez, ám olyan újszerű színekkel gazdagították azokat, melyek révén meglepően friss hatásúakká váltak. A duó legújabb vállalkozása a zeneirodalom egyik legnagyobb kompozíciójához kapcsolódik. Bach Goldberg-variációinak szaxofonharmonika átirata már önmagában is kivételes, Magyarországon a CAFe Budapesten hangzik el először. Duo Aliada, or Michał Knot and Bogdan Laketic, already earned considerable success with their first album. New Colours of the Past is a selection of the music of Handel, Bach, Vivaldi, and others, arranged for saxophone and accordion. Their handling of the pieces was informed by their utmost respect towards historic composers, but involved adding new colours that infused the works with a surprising freshness. The duo’s most recent project is related to one of the greatest compositions in musical history. This special arrangement of Bach’s Goldberg Variations for saxophone and accordion can be first heard in Hungary at the CAFe Budapest festival.
