okémon X and Y are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. They are the first installments in the sixth generation of the Pokémon series of role-playing games. First announced on January 8, 2013 by Satoru Iwata through a special Nintendo Direct, both X and Y were released worldwide on October 12, 2013,z making them the first Nintendo-published retail games to have such a global simultaneous release in all key regions.
As with previous installments, both games follow the journey of a young Pokémon trainer (and their friends) as they train Pokémon. This time, the game takes place in the Kalos region—based on France—with the object of the game being to thwart the schemes of the nefarious criminal organization Team Flare, all while attempting to challenge the Pokémon League Champion. X and Y introduced 70 new Pokémon species, and includes new +pletely rendered polygonal 3D graphics (as opposed to the sprites used in previous generations). A new form of Pokémon evolution, known as “Mega Evolution,” allows players to further evolve many species of fully evolved Pokémon, with 30 evolutions currently available. Both titles are independent of each other, but feature largely the same plot, and while both can be played separately, as with past titles trading Pokémon between both of the games is necessary in order obtain every Pokémon species. Upon release, X and Y received critical acclaim from critics who praised the advancements in the gameplay and the large innovation that they brought to the franchise. The games were highly anticipated and were a commercial success, selling four million copies worldwide in the first weekend,beating Black and White’s record and making them the fastest selling games on the 3DS.and have since sold over 12 million copies as of April 2014, becoming the best selling games on the system. Like previous Pokémon games, X and Y both follow a linear storyline; the main events occur in a fixed order. The protagonist of Pokémon X and Y is a young teenager who had just moved to Vaniville Town who, along with his or her friends; Shauna, Calem/Serena, Tierno, and Trevor, set out on a journey through Kalos to become Pokémon masters. At the beginning of the games, the player chooses either Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie as their starter Pokémon from one of their friends, later receiving either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, from the Kalos Region’s leading scientist Professor Sycamore.The player’s primary goal is to obtain the eight Gym Badges of Kalos and ultimately challenge the Elite Four of the Pokémon League, and its Champion, to win the game. Obstructing their way is the villainous Team Flare, whose goals at first seem to be geared towards making money off of Pokémon, but it is later revealed that their desire for beauty extends worldwide and they wish to wipe out humanity and civilization to keep the planet in its pristine and beautiful state. To that end, Team Flare seeks out the Mega Stones to understand their secret and Xerneas (X)/Yveltal (Y) to power a weapon to meet their goal. ine Little Pony is a mod for the PC game Minecraft. It makes players look like ponies, in the style of the TV show “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic”.
Once the mod is installed, you and all other players will look like ponies in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Players who aren’t using a special pony skin on minecraft.net will look like one of the background ponies from the show. The skinpack zip file contains skins for all of the mane 6 ponies and other ponies that star in the show in addition to copies of the background pony skins used in the mod. To use a particular pony skin on yourself you will have to change your player skin to one of the skins from the skinpack This mod adds new player models and textures that make players look like ponies, in the style of the TV show “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic”. Once the mod is installed, you and all other players will look like ponies in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Players who aren’t using a special pony skin will look like one of the background ponies from the show (as the default player skins are not fully compatible with this mod). Pony skins are backwards-compatible with the original player model, so they look fine to any player who doesn’t have the mod installed (those players just won’t see the pony models). You can be an earth pony, a pegasus, a unicorn or an alicorn. Pegasus ponies flap their wings when flying, and unicorns hold items in the air in front of them as if by magic. ne of the somewhat consistent aspects of the Pokémon series of role-playing games is the choice of one of three different Pokémon at the start of the player’s adventures. These three are often labeled Starter Pokémon. Players have the option to choose one of three different types of Pokémon: a Grass-type, Fire-type, and Water-type, (Bulbasaur, however, is a dual Grass/Poison type, and many starter Pokémon evolve to be dual-typed Pokémon),all of which are supposedly indigenous to that region, yet otherwise unattainable except through trading with another game (leading to their rarity). Afterward, the player’s rival will always select the Pokémon whose type is “super effective” against the player’s Starter Pokémon. In the Black and White Versions, where the player has two rival characters, both of the alternate Pokémon
are chosen. The exception to this concept is Pokémon Yellow, where players are given a Pikachu, the Electric-type mouse Pokémon famous for being the mascot of the Pokémon media franchise, who walks along behind them.The rival trainer receives an Eevee, a Normal-type Pokémon. The Eevee will evolve into one of its (then) three different evolved states depending on how the player fares in his battles with the rival in the beginning of the game.
