Overview

About The Property

This luxurious home has 4,606sq ft, 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, 32' ceilings with mesquite tongue and groove flooring, custom stone fireplace, lighting, fixtures, high-end appliances, and much more. It is truly one of a kind home situated on 45 acres on the banks of the Red River in Belcher, Louisiana. The home has three levels, a 1,000-square-foot screened-in entertainment porch with a kitchen and cooking area. Back in 1975, the core of engineers straightened up the Red River which left an oxbow, mile-long lake just outside the front door of the property, which has some of the best hunting and fishing in the State of Louisiana. Additionally, it left a smaller lake which is right in the duck flyway making hunting exceptional! There are four outbuildings, a Horse barn, a state-of-the-art round-riding arena, and two RV hookups on the property.

It’s always exciting at SB Magazine. Switching up columns, looking for a different story angle, sharing our communities’ triumphs. This month we are so pleased to introduce you to TWIN BLENDS, twin brothers who have built a huge Facebook following by researching old photos of buildings and places in and around Shreveport Bossier. They take those photos, merge them to show how those places look today, and then share them with their fans. Watch for Mark Mangham and Mike Mangham’s column in every issue. You might just recognize a place from your past.

If you didn’t recognize the sweet lady on our cover, she is Cindy Dyer. She recently did a little thing. She made history by being the first woman from Northwest Louisiana elected as the President of the Louisiana Realtors Association. We are proud to share her journey with you and hope you are as inspired and as proud of her as we are.

Speaking of realtors, this issue is focused on our Top Realtors in Shreveport and Bossier City. Your votes were heard, and the People’s Choice Award goes to Chessica Harville.

You’ll also find the names and faces of the 15 students who ACED the ACT. All of these gifted kids are from Caddo Magnet High School. We find this extraordinary and couldn’t wait to pat them on the back. Tomorrow’s leaders right here in Shreveport Bossier.

Finally, we packed our camera equipment and camped at Azarue’s Bridal and Formal in Bossier City. I know you’ll see something you’ll love in our wedding section. And don’t forget to drop by the Boardwalk Bridal Market & Sample Sale on August 5th.
