THE COLLECTION This collection features four designs which celebrate the summer heat. Each pattern features a different lace motif combined with classic stockinette sections. Knitters everywhere will love the combination of the soft, subtly tweedy Sabine yarn with Anniken's on-trend designs.

Anniken Allis is a Norwegian designer who has lived in England for the last 23 years. She has been regularly published in several British magazines as well as Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Debbie Bliss Magazine, Verena (German magazine) and Knitty.com. She's regularly published patterns for other yarn companies and has contributed to two books, Classic Elite: Shawls, Wraps, & Scarves and the Scrumptious Collection Volume 2. Anniken's passion is lace knitting and she is considered one of the UK's leading lace designers, although her designs also feature a variety of techniques including cables, and fair isle.

An A-line dress with a lacy dolman yoke which finishes just above the knee. Short sleeves and a shallow round neck gives this dress a casual summery look. The chevron lace pattern is worked across the yoke and sleeves. The dress is worked in two pieces.

A fun, short-sleeved summer sweater. The lace yoke, which has lace patterning on both right and wrong side rows, is worked sideways from sleeve to sleeve. This cardigan has an all-over, delicate lace pattern which is easy to knit. Larger needles for the bottom few inches gives it a slight A-line shape. A classic hip length cardigan with ¾ length sleeves and a scoop neck, which can be worn with a variety of outfits throughout various seasons.

This sweater has a stockinette stitch front with 'waist darts' waist shaping, shallow, round neck and short sleeves. The back is worked in a horseshoe lace pattern for a surprising twist. The sweater is worked in pieces with set in sleeves.

THE YARN Don’t tell the other yarns, but Sabine is our favorite. We love this yarn so much, because it feels so nice to knit with (due it its blend of Royal Llama, Merino and Cotton). Because of its subtle tweediness. Because it is really a year round yarn in most of the world. And, last but not least, because it’s named after Susan's sweet dog, Sabine. This season we're introduction five new colors to add to our palate.
