DANCE PROGRAM
Youth / Teen Activities
Students register for the 24-week program. Costumes will be ordered and paid for in October for the recital held on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Dance steps and terms are taught while working on routines for the recital. Participants must have ballet slippers, tap and/or jazz shoes, depending on the class. Due to room size, class is limited to participants only. Shoes may be purchased through the Recreation Department. Information will be given at first class. Extra classes may be added closer to the recital. 足Register by September 18. COMPETITIVE DANCE
Competition Dance is for individuals in Grades 8-12 with a minimum of 5 years dance experience. Costumes will be ordered and paid for in October for the competition in January or February and the recital held on Sunday, April 24. 2016. An additional fee will be needed for participating in the competition. Dance steps and terms are taught while working on routines for the performances. Participants must have ballet slippers, tap and/or jazz shoes, depending on the class. Shoes may be purchased through the Recreation Department. Information will be given at first class.
