• This cow has turned into one of those good luck stories. Being only four years old and having just sold her first set of calves in 2013, she has made quite a stir in her young productive life. Trent Ray has campaigned CHEZ Strawberry Wine to the 2013 NJHE Reserve Grand Champion Polled Heifer title and supreme breeding female at the Illinois State Fair in her only two times of being shown. Another half-sister shown by the Shoevanec Family was reserve in the division to Strawberry Wine. The Skiles Family in Texas has campaigned a daughter to champion polled heifer in both rings and third overall English heifer at the Belt Buckle Bonanza. Andy Kertz has a daughter that won the West Virginia State Fair. The first spring born daughter of 039 to be sold at public auction commanded $57,500 in the Hoffman Herefords fall sale and was the third high selling female of that offering. Rausch Herefords purchased her first natural bull to use on heifers. To this date, 039 has sold 9 calves to gross over $200,000. She not only produces cattle with eye appeal, they are extremely functional. This mating could result in a low BW bull or heifer that could have as much value genomically as phenotypically. Embryos stored at TransOva, Onida, S.D.

• A chance to own a piece of the factory, R Sweet Red Wine 039! A sister to all of the previously mentioned great females produced by the Effling’s and company in South Dakota. As seen all across the country, the power is in the blood and the 039 cow has proven herself again here! A super sound, attractive heifer that has endless mating possibilities after her run on the tanbark. We wanted to make our initial offering in the Hereford breed special… here she is!
