Ballet & Tap | Beginner Two dance favorites in one class. Participants are introduced to simple step and easy ballet and tap routines in this energetic class. Leotards, ballet, and tap shoes are recommended for the Tuesday class. Tap shoes are not allowed on the floor at the Ovrom Recreation Center where the Saturday class is held, so tap will be done in tennis shoes. Just like Cinderella’s glass slippers, this class will be a perfect fit for any beginning ballerina! Garri Dance Staff will incorporate magical props and enchanting music while introducing basic ballet positions and exercises. For the health and safety of dancers, each participant must purchase their prop bundle to use each week in class. Prop bundles must be purchased from their instructor for $5.00. Flamencarinas This class teaches the very young dancer movements, rhythms and basic steps of flamenco dance in a very fun and engaging way. Dance shoes are not necessary but students should wear clean rubber closed toed rubber soled shoes. Girl dancers can wear long skirts but outfit is not necessary.
