"Our Fanny is gone. Sadness has crept into our souls' We never before realized what it would be like without our Fanny. It is as though we ourselves have had a personal losi. We fully sympathize rvith the dog r,vho had his tail chopped off. Suddenly there just doesn't seem to be anything to wiggle. Yes, my friends, our Fanny is gone, - "But memory lingers on.
