Lumber Company, San Diego, that effective September L Robert M. Sutton has resigned as vice president, general manager and stockholder of the firm.
William S. Cowling, Jr., also a vice president, has assumed all of the duties of general manager. Gil Freese, Jr., who is DixieLine's credit manager, has been appointed as the new secretarytreasurer. Harold Nelson, acting on outside sales, has been named DixieLine's new sales manager.

Word has been received at press time that Los Angeles' Harvey W. Koll has been elected Snark of the Universe of The International Concatenated Order of Hoo-Hoo, at the 70th annual convention held in Miami in mid-September.
We join Harvey's many, many friends in ofiering him our heartiest congratulations and best wishes for what we are sure is going to be a most successful tenure of office.

Behind the scenes of the program for Forest Products Day, September 9th at the 1961 California State Fair in Sacramento was C. D. LeMaster.
This was his third year as secretarymanager of the event, having initiated it when he was 79 years of age.
LeMaster, whose appearance and activities belie his 81 years, says he is "just beginning."
"Le" began his lumber career in 1897. He is, of course, remembered as having been publisher and editor of Western Building Review for a number of years.
At present he is hard at work creating a technique to improve lumber processrng.
Much of his time is devoted to International Hoo-Hoo.
McWhorrer Joins Art Bond Lumber
Effective September 1, veteran wholesaler W. P. "Mac" McWhorter
