The four day building materials panorama of the 1961 Western Building Industries Exposition (October 7-10) will be highlighted by the appearance of many new and established product displays. Among the vast assembly of colorful show booths will be representatives from almost every major firm concerned with industrial, commercial and institutional construction in the western states.
THE ROBERTS CO. will display their fully assembled metal folding doors and a unique door stop with a built-in weatherstripping feature. J. E. "Jim" Connolly and Ray Peloso will staff the exhibit.

The new light weight CALNAIL air-driven CALWIRE MARK II and CYCLAMATIC staplers and nailers for the building trades will be shown by the BOSTITCH-WESTERN, INC. Representing the firm at the exhibit are D. G. "Dan" Scilagyi, Robert O. Larimer, Lawson P. Stine, John D. Ide, and John P. Malone.
DONNER MANUFACTURING CO. will bring its new DONNER cylindrical lock and extensive line of bath accessories and sliding door locks to the WBIE show. Among the exhibit personnel will be Jade M. Donner, Howard N. Sweetman, William Griffiin, Joe Vanier, and William Walters.
Masonry and clay products exhibited in WBIE will include SPECTRA-GLAZE made by STRUCTURAL GLAZED PRODUCTS, INC., and said to be the first successfully produced glazed concrete block. Shown in 60 colors and a variety of shapes, the unit features glazing which conforms to ASTM specifications and ample strength for load-bearing construction without back-up wall support.
KWIKSET DIVISION of AMERICAN HARDWARE CORP. will show new locksets, hardware, 'and decorative trim and will demonstrate a revolutionary new method of installation which eliminates mortising, chiseling, and screws, and is said to be four times faster than conventional methods.
A unique pre-packaged display unit will be exhibited by the CROWN ALUMINUN{ INDUSTRIES CORP. The display unit is designed to provide the dealer with a self-selling basic minimum inventory of the company's baked enamel aluminum rain-carrying equipment.
INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. will exhibit its well known line of products at the show. On hand will be C. E. I{inle, O. T. Anderson, W. J. Cole, G. A. Hurst, D. A. McAllister, and G. L. Riggs.
WESTERN DUO-FAST will show WBIE audiences two air staple nailers, Model S-762 and 5-763, which it acclaims as bringing factory automation to the building site, Demonstrations, will show cost-reducing automatic fastening methods, meeting FHA specifications, in standard construction as well as the building of trailers, mobile homes, cabinet work and finish details.
Another WBIE feature exhibit will be presented by Los Angeles Trade Technical College. A 5'x8' cutaway house will be used to show details of construction and illustrate important points of the school's training programs in carpentry, cabinet work, sheet metal work, brick laying, and other building trades.
