Chrigtenson Lumber Co. Expands Storage Space and Stock o[ Timberg

Christenson Lutnbcr Co., San Francisco, reccntly increased its lumber storage space by 50 per cent by the purchase of an additional three acres.

This company has for some time carried the largest stock of fir timbers in the San Francisco Ray area, and this will be further increased, using the nerv storage sPace. Approximately 1,000,000 ft. of timbers are available now.

In speaking about tlris cxpansion Millard C. White, manager of the big Christenson operation, said : "We have trtade arrangemerrts with trvo band mills to cut largc artd lorrg tinrbers, and have also arranged for a stock of retlrvoo<l timbers. Recent equipment purchases include trvo nerv trucks and a nerv Ross stacker.

"We will continue to carry on a jobbing business irr dimension, and n'ill maintain our policy of sales exclusively to dealers, outside of the San Francisco Bay area. Jint Gartin and Ed Cornel', sales managers, will handle the office sales of jobbing stock," Mr. White stated.
