Appointed Vice Pregident in Chcrge

Chicago, Ill., April l2-The appointment of ['aul B. Shocmaker as vice-president in charge of sales for Masonite Corporation, Chicago, was announced today by Eugene Holland, president. He had been vice-president and director of sales for Georgia-Pacific Plywood Company since the fall of 1949.

For 22 of his 28 years in the building materials industry, Shoemaker was associated with U' S. Gypsum Co., the last five years as sales manager. His appointment to Masonite Corporation is effective May 1.

A native of Iowa, Shoemaker attended the University of Minnesota and then taught two years in Japan before beginning his career in the building materials field as ;r salesman in Des Moines'
