Who We Are

Active Dstribution is a full-*ruice warehouse operation which specializes in the storage and distribution of specialty and commodity products. A wide variety of value-added services, unique in the industry, is offered to both manufacturem and retailen.

Our Location

With its headquarters in the port city of Stockton, Califomia, Active Dstribution can quickly access major population centers of the West as readilv as it handles intemational imports and exports.

Facility

A 130,000 sq. ft. warehouse and 14 acres of pcured storage allow the flenbility necessary for handling many tlpes of products, including lumber and plywood. Modem warehousing systemg and a state-of-the-art computer network track Active Dstribution's ognration.

Tradewest Hardwood maintains facilities in Rancho Dominguez and San Diego as well as at Harris Custom Mill in Los Angeles.

Western Hardwood Meeting

Western Hardwood Association members will consider the future when they meet at the Newport Beach, Ca., Marriott Hotel, Oct. 2527.

Joseph Wahed, chief economist, Wells Fargo Bank, will set the tone of the fall meeting with his economic forecast while a representative of the Air Quality Management district will provide information about wood dust compliance. Tommy Davis, former L.A. Dodger superstar, will discuss the organization ofthe ball club. Seven areas of long range planning will be considered during the general business sessions. Revenue, memberships, leadership, grading rules, promotion, log supply and conventions will be reviewed.

Election of officers will be hetd. Golf and social events round out the meeting.
