Last Call For Hoo-Hoo 108th Annual

Time is running out to finalize plans to attend the l08th annual Hoo-Hoo International Convention Sept. 9-13 at the historic Menger Hotel, San Antonio, Tx.
Located directly across from the legendary Alamo, the saloon in the Menger Hotel was the site of the founding of Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Riders in 1898. As president, T.R. was given #999 for his Hoo-Hoo number during a 1905 initiation in Fort Worth.

Wood Reuse ldeas Sought
The American Forest & Paper Association recently played host to the second meeting of the Wood Recovery Alliance, where discussions were held about the best ways to recover and reuse wood scraps.
The meeting addressed wood recovery, plastic transportation packaging and terminology issues. The alliance, an arm of the White House National Recycling Challenge, will meet again Oct. 6.
