lnland Mills On The Decline
While mills in the coastal and California redwood regions held their own in the first half of 1995, Inland production, shipments, orders and inventories continued to decline, according to preliminary statistics released by the Western Wood Products Association.
Production at Inland mills declined 16.7%o to 3.44 billion bd. ft. over last year's totals. Shipments fell 14.6%o compared to last year while orders were Il.lVo lower for the half.

For the week ended July 1, production slipped 19 million bd. ft. to 273 million bd. ft. Shipments totaled 353 million bd. ft., down 3 million, while orders fell 19 million bd. ft. to 374 million bd. ft.
