Firm Sells to Wide Areo

One of the West's fastest growing, young wholesale lumber companies is Wisconsin California Forest Products Inc. Peter Lane, president, reports they are serving all national markets, Canada and other export markets in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with emphasis on sugar pine in the foreign areas.

While relativbly new, the staff is composed of seasoned veterans. Vicepresidents are Tim Mclndoo and Ed O'Kelley. Secretary-treasurer is Doveen Mayo. Dutch Wiseman is sales, and rounding out the firm's coverage is the addition to the sales staff of Ross Ensworth, whose specialty is eastern shipments of dimension and boards. Office secretary is Arleen Mitchell.

The company maintains its distribution yard in Redding, Calif. Specialties and standards include sugar pine, Ponderosa pine, Idaho white pine, Douglas fir, white fir, hemlock, spruce, incense cedarl western red cedar, quality millwork and industrial cut stock. On hand in the Redding yard are 4/4 tfuough 4/16 sugar pine, shop through selects.

Weyco Honors Sqlesmqn

James F. Hofiacker of Los Angeles has been chosen as a member of the 'Professional Roundtable of Sales (Pros) by Weyerhaeuser.

Hoffacker is one of a number of company men so honored for their outstanding ability as sales representatives during the past year.

In announcing Hoffacker's selection, Weyerhaeuser wood products' G. J. Lipani, area manager, noted that, "It is a great honor for a salesman to be named to Pros because of the high standards that have to be met."

Mqdden New Potloch President

Benton R. Cancell has retired as president and chief executive officer of Potlatch Forests, Inc., and has been succeeded by Richard B. Madden. Cancell continues as a director and consultant.

Koplon Nomed Evons President

Sheldon Kaplan, formerly vice chairman, has been elected president and chief operating officer of Evans Products Co. Monford A. Orloff, chairman, president and chief executive officer since 1962, remains chairman and chief executive officer.
