The trimmable ends of the SpaceJoist TE provide field flexibility and are manufactured as an I-joist, allowing builders the choice to trim up to 1 2" off each end. Reportedly, the truss with metal webbing can support the same load at greater on-center spacing than a standard wood joist, resulting in fewer pieces to handle.

The product is available in four depths ranging from 9ll4" to 15-314" and in spans of 6' to 26' in 2' increments.
