A short course in markup, gross profit, turnover, breakeven, return on investment/assets is another paft of the meeting.

Steve Page, Valley Best-Way Building Supply, Spokane, Wa., is the new pres. of the Young Westerners Club. Others elected at the recent conference were Bob Jacobsen, Lloyd Lumber Co, Nampa, Id., v.p.; Ron Divers, Withers Lumber Co., Woodburn, Or., sec.-treas.; Dick Ketola, The Harris Co., Olympia, Wa. ; Petra Reininger, Armstrong World Industries, and Terry Wiggins, Savage Wholesale Building Materials, Inc., Tacoma, Wa., trustees.

Retiring pres. Andy Boyd headed the conference committee. The educational program included store layout, fixtures, leasing vs. buying, all weather wood foundations and treated wood. A panel discussion featuring three YWC members and roundtable discussions zeroed in on other topics of interest.
