Western Woods l)istribution I)ivision, ('hico, Ca.. is a newly-fornted division of Weslern Woods, Inc.

J'he new yard, which occupies a 2.-5 acre site. sells green and dry lumber as well as all panel products. The nrarket area is central ('alifornia fionr Bakerslleld north to the Oregon border.

Western Woods, Inc. is n.)arking its l9th year. The ('hico-based conrpany began with two salesnren and one secretary. In June 1989, they acquirecl Whittaker I;orest Products, ('hico, lronr Larry Whittaker who had been one of the original two salesnren for Western Woods. Inc.

T'oday the firm has 19 salesmen and sells 360 nillion board feet a ]-ear in all species. In addition to the new distribution division, the organization includes Western Woods \d'hittaker I)ivision and parent contpany Western Woods, Inc., with branch ollices in Redding and Willits. Both the Western Woods. Inc. and Whittaker divisions sell in ('alilbrnia. Nevada and n rizona.

Managenrent includes Rick Richter. president: Bud Bristow, nranager/Whittaker I)ivision. T'ont Von Moos. manager/distribution yard division.
