Board for 1995
G. Robin Swift III, Swift Lumber, Inc., Atmore, Al., is the 1995 chairman of the board of the Southern Forest Products Association, succeeding Mack Singleton, New South, Inc., Conway, S.C.
Others elected at the annual meeting in Savannah, Ga., Ocl 15-18, are Buford Price, Union Camp Corp., Savannah, Ga., vice-chairman, and John Hammack, Hood Industries, Inc., Waynesboro, Ms., treasurer. Karl W. Lindberg was re-elected president. Lionel J. Landry continues as secretary.
The board authorized a $100,000 contribution to the Coalition for Fair Lumber Imports to help fund legal and legislative efforts to offset the effect of subsidized softwood imports from Canada.
