Stair nosings with plain grooves reportedly provide insufficient traction and can trap dirt and water. The new system features profiled grooves fitted with specially formulated rubber inserts for a neat, non-slip footing. And it's easy to keep clean because it has no exposed grooves.

The rubber is mounted flush with lhe metal, so the metal and rubber wear evenly to provide continuous safety and beauty throughout the life of the stairway. Materials can be cut to fit exact size specifications and mount using machine screws or, in new or existing cement" lead anchors or lead shields.
