Building Material MerchantsAssociation of Georgia and Alabama and the Tennessee Building Materials Association will co-sponsor for their members a Dreconvention Canadian tour, Nov. 8-16. enroute to the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association convention in Seattle, Wa., Nov. 16-21.

Tennessee Building Materials Association will hold its annual legislative conference and general membership meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Nashville March 6.

Reed Wright, TBMA chairman; Frank Kinser, vice chairmani Frank Crosslin; Carl Tindell; Larry Haynes, legislative committee co{hairman, and Fred Stephens, Young Executives president, are on the planning committee.

Plans include a meeting of the TBMA board of directors, presentations and speeches by administration and legislative leaders and a luncheon for all members of the 94th General Assemblv.

Virginia Building Material Association members participated in three construction seminars last month.

Representatives of the Western Wood Products Association conducted the short courses for both new and old employees. Product knowledge and enthusiasm generated by the half day course will help those attending to do their jobs better as well as aid in the selling of wood and wood products, according to an associattion spokesman.

Classes were held in Richmond on Feb. 5, Arlington on Feb. 6 and Roanoke on Feb. 7.

Final plans are being made for the VBMA convention March 24-27 at The Mariner, Hilton Head, S.C. An open board meeting to be conducted by the newly elected 1985 president with his new board of directors will be the final event of the convention. The open meeting is planned as an opportunity for members to offer their ideas and suggestions for the new year,
