HUSKIES IN THE NFL Larry Webster

Bloomsburg’s all-time sacks leader, Webster (right) made a tremendous impact on the gridiron in only two seasons. After a standout career on the basketball court for the Huskies where he became the school’s all-time blocked shots leader, Webster transitioned to the football field. The impact was immediate - he set the single season school sacks record with 13.5 in 2012 and then recorded 12.5 sacks and led the nation in sack yardage (102) in 2013. He was drafted in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions (136th overall), becoming the second-highest Bloomsburg player ever selected behind only Jahri Evans. Webster also is the seventh-highest NFL Draft pick in PSAC history.

Brian Clarke

A two-time All-American for the Huskies offensive line, Clarke’s bruising style helped lead Bloomsburg to the top two rushing seasons in PSAC history in back-toback years. He was signed as a priority free agent by the Dallas Cowboys immediately following the 2014 NFL Draft.

Matt Feiler

Feiler drew the attention of NFL scouts following an All-American senior season, earning invitations to both the prestigious East-West Shrine Game and the NFL Combine. He was signed as a free agent by the Houston Texans immediately following the 2014 NFL Draft.

Jahri Evans

On April 30, 2006 the New Orleans Saints selected Bloomsburg offensive tackle Jahri Evans (left) in the fourth round (108th overall) in the NFL draft. Evans is a key figure in an offensive line that has ranked among the NFL’s best units since 2006. An immediate starter since being drafted in the fourth round in 2006, Evans has gone from being a little-known rookie to an established veteran now considered one of the NFL’s top right guards. He is a five-time Pro Bowl selection (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013) and a five-time All-Pro. In 2011 he was named as one of the 100 Greatest Players in the NFL, ranking 34th. In 2006, he was recognized as Pro Football Weekly/PFWAAll-Rookie and Dallas Morning News All-Rookie. Evans was a two-time All-American while at Bloomsburg. In 2005, he helped lead the Huskies to an undefeated regular season and a PSAC East title.

Eric Jonassen

In 1992, tackle Eric Jonassen was selected in the fifth round by the San Diego Chargers. Jonassen played two years for the Chargers. In 1993, Jonassen played in all 16 games and started in two for the Chargers. His career ended after the 1993 season. At Bloomsburg, Jonassen was an All-American tackle.

Mike Morucci

Running back Mike Morucci was taken in the seventh round of the 1980 draft by the New Orleans Saints; however, his NFL career was cut short by injury. At Bloomsburg, he graduated as the Huskies and the PSAC all-time leading rusher. His Bloomsburg records stood until 1997 when they were broken by tailback Irv Sigler. Bob Tucker

Bob Tucker was not drafted but joined the Giants as a rookie in 1970. He put together a solid 11-year career as a tight end. Tucker had 422 receptions for 5,421 yards and scored 27 touchdowns. In 1971, his 59 receptions ranked second in the league. At Bloomsburg, Tucker was an All-Pennsylvania Conference selection three times. He graduated with nine school receiving records and ranks fourth all-time at BU with 131 receptions.
