BOLINGBROOK Jan. 2 Officers responded to Menards, 290 N. Bolingbrook Dr., for the report of a retail theft. Suspects took two hammer drills from display and exited the store at without paying. Loss valued at $600. Jan. 3 Officers were called to Kohl’s, 1138 W. Boughton Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Suspect entered the store, removed a Dyson vacuum from display and exited the store without paying. Loss valued at $600. Jan. 5 A 10’ snow pusher box was removed from a Bob Cat on the 700 block of E. Boughton Rd. between Dec. 13 and Jan. Loss valued at $9800. Officers were called to Lowe’s, 245 S. Weber Rd., for the report of a retail theft. Suspect entered the store at 9:48 am, removed a Dyson vacuum from display and exited the store without paying. Loss valued at $600. (17-109) Jan. 6 Jose Arredondo, 48, of Bolingbrook, was charged with battery, criminal damage to property and resisting a peace officer, following a call to the 400 block of Devonshire Ln. Jan. 7 David Hickman, 31, of Woodridge, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 100 block of Bolingbrook Dr. Peter Spizziri, 27, of Chicago,
was charged with criminal trespass to property on the 600 block of E. 107th St. A mailbox was damaged when someone backed into it on Cariboo Ct. Jan. 8 Officers were called to the 500 block of Piccadilly Ln. for the report of a residential burglary. A basement window was found broken and several rooms were rummaged through. A watch and cash were taken between 4:45–9:23 p.m. A window was broken to a vehicle parked on the 600 block of Royce Rd. and a bag with paperwork was taken. Imogene Martinez, 19, of Bolingbrook, was charged with reckless discharge of firearm and unlawful possession of firearm, following a call to the area for a bullet hole found at a nearby residence. (17-151) Aaliyah Stafford, 21, of Bolingbrook, was charged with domestic battery, following a call to the 500 block of Racine Lane. Jonathan Flores, 31, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Boughton Road and Janes Avenue. Jeshua Calvo, 20, of Chicago, was charged with an in-state warrant, following a traffic stop at Beaconridge and Bolingbrook drives. at 2:01 am. (17-138) Jan. 9 Cornelius Brown 26, of Bolingbrook, was charged with improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed, and two counts of DUI, following a traffic stop on the 1100 block of Remington Blvd. Officers were called to the 600 block of Goldenrod Drive for the report of a residential burglary. Jan. 10 Joseph Daybell, 18, of Bolingbrook, Juan Aguirre, 19, of Romeoville, and two juveniles were charged with armed robbery following a call to Caribou Ct. for a subject with a knife. Brook Smith, 27, of Harvey, was charged with two counts of DUI, aggravated battery, driving on a suspended license, resisting a peace officer, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance, improper lane usage, two counts of traffic signal violation, following a traffic stop on the 200 block of N. Weber Road. Two vehicles were taken from a lot on the 200 block of Old Chicago Dr. A dump truck was taken from the 600 block of E. Boughton Rd. between Jan. 1 and Jan 10. Jan. 11 A purse and wallet were taken from a vehicle parked on the 200 block of Yellowpine Dr. between Jan 10 and 11. Juan Rocha, 18, of Bolingbrook, was charged with an in-state warrant on the 300 block of Commons Drive. Officers were called to the 400 block of Yorkshire Sq. for the report of a residential burglary. A screen door was torn off between 6:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Two TVs, 2 game systems, a designer watch and belt, a laptop and silver necklace were taken. Officers responded to the 100 block of Seabury Rd. for the report of shots fired. An unknown offender shot at vehicle and glass door 5:44 p.m.
ROMEOVILLE Dec. 28 A burglary from motor vehicle was reported in the 0-100 of Phelps. I-phone valued at $600 from was removed from an unlocked vehicle. Jan. 2
A criminal damage to property was reported in the 0-100 block Honeybear. Unknown person(s) damaged the windshield, support pillar and a rear window of a vehicle that was parked in the street. Estimated cost to repair the damage is $1600. Jan. 5 A burglary was reported in the 300 block of North Independence. An unknown person broke a door at the business; it is unknown at this point if anything was taken. A theft was reported in the 1000 block of Windham Parkway. A trailer valued at $10,000 was removed from the dock of the business. January 10 A criminal damage to property was reported in the 2000 block of Kentland when coaxial cables outside of the house were cut; doing an estimated $50 in damage. ROMEOVILLE December 6-8 During a Romeoville Police Department sting, over the course of three days, arrests were made for patronizing a prostitute. Dec. 8 Geno Grigoletti, 48, of Elwood, arrested at 3:45 p.m. Michael Bracken, 24, of Lemont , was arrested at 4:40 p.m. David Scarmardo, 55, of Plainfield, was arrested 5:01 p.m. Shabbir Ghatila, 29, of Bolingbrook, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. Bret Richter, 48, of Lisle, arrested at 5:22 p.m Pawel Peiprzak, 33, of Romeoville, was arrested at 6:26 p.m. Dec. 9 Levy Ferolino, 51, of Romeoville, was arrested at 10:52 a.m. in the 1200 block of Lakeview for patronizing a prostitute. James Russell, 46, of Romeoville, was arrested at 11:25 a.m.

Jan. 1 Shada Hardy, 24, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. in the area of Route 53 and Murphy for DUI, no insurance, DWLS, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and obstruction of identification. Jan. 5 Isaiah Toney, 19, of Romeoville, was arrested at 12:41 a.m. in the area of Taylor and Troxel for aggravated unlawful use of weapon and aggravated unlawful possession of stolen weapon. A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested at 12:41 a.m. for curfew and possession of cannabis in the area of Taylor and Troxel. A 14-year-old juvenile was also arrested for curfew. Jan. 7 Amber Wilkins, 36, of Crest Hill, was arrested at 6:58 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for an in-state warrant. Charissa Boonstra, 29, of Oak Forrest, was at 7:53 p.m. in the 1300 block of Airport Road for retail theft. Jan. 9 Amanda Martinez, 20, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:09 p.m. in the 400 block of South Weber Road for retail theft.
