TY: What inspired you to start a cannabis lifestyle brand?
BLUNTTALK: I realized we did not have one in Canada! marketing restrictions contributed to this but I did not see brands connecting with consumers beyond the Cannabis they sold.
TY: What do you think makes BLUNT TALK stand out amongst the crowd?
BLUNTTALK: It’s authenticity! I made it a point to not dumb down the brand or conform to any norms.We also don’t copy or imitate any trends! WE MAKE THE TRENDS!
TY: Tell us about the events you host.
BLUNTTALK: I was tired of going to Cannabis Industry Events AND NOT BEING ABLE TO SMOKE INSIDE! Lift&Co. Specifically! The best parts of these events were happening outside where we could smoke! So I did my own Lift where you could smoke inside! Now I try to do events as often as possible. Legal and Legacy. Cannabis for me involves both sides so I usually try to incorporate both!
TY: What do you think makes a BLUNTTALK event different than other industry Events?
BLUNTTALK: I would say the fact we incorporate legacy and legal brands! Nobody else does that. It’s either a legacy market style event like Canna Crawl or a big Legal Industry event like
the KIND Fair.
TY: What do you think the best thing about the Ontario cannabis community Is?
BLUNTTALK: THAT IT IS SOO BIG AND ENGAGED! I would not be living a dream with my own Cannabis Brand if the Ontario Cannabis Community was not so engaged and screaming for more!
