Glue is a “necessary evil” that adds unwanted weight. Prepreg adds the perfect amount of glue exactly where it is needed and not a drop more.

Through years of testing and refinement we’ve developed some of the most advanced sidecuts in the industry consisting of three radii blended together. Smooth turn initiation, stable ride on edge, and quick, powerful exit snap into the next turn make predictable, easy handling a Palmer signature.
Klothoid Sidecut:
Easy in, easy out.
By utilizing geometric motion technology called Klothoid, our engineers introduce a new shape technology to snowboarding. The Klothoid technology allows our engineers to control the centrifugal forces you experience as you go around a turn at any point, by continuously varying the radius of the curvature. This unique multi-radii shape technology allows us to blend together as many different sidecut radii as needed to achieve the highest performance.
Sidecuts
The results are smaller more aggressive radii between the bindings and more gradual radii towards the tip and tail of the boards, delivering the highest level of riding support ever. Turn initiation and exit are smoother and more predictable, while the main portion of the turn is tight and responsive, when forces are at their max.
Carbon Power Transfer Technology (CPT):
CPT adds precision doses of torque and pop to performance areas. The ultra advanced carbon transfer technology redefines the standard for performance. We place carbon fiber in special configurations to modify the boards longitudinal flex, torsional stiffness, and improve at the same time the boards power distribution from the bindings to the edges of the board.
CPT adds longitudinal strength, increases torsional rigidity and distributes power directly from the bindings to the edges, without stiffening the overall board flex.

Snowboards can be more than the sum of their parts, and when you build very carefully, with the best parts known to man you are in for one hell of a sweet ride. The legendary PALMER SNOWBOARD CORE for genuine high performance. The Palmer process of sophisticated sandwich constructions begin as layers of prepreg material – a reinforcing fabric impregnated with a curable resin matrix – with aramid honeycomb and or lightweight vertically laminated woodcores, composed in block molds by hand. This resin matrix becomes polymerized forming a solid bond with all the components including the topsheets, edges, sidewalls and bases. It’s a mouthful-and-a-half, but it basically means the best parts go exactly where they’re supposed to. Nothing is left to chance.

This true Twin Tip Klothoid design with centered stances is precise when riding switch and is perfect for parks and deep snow kickers. Slightly wide for stability on the rails, the Factor’s directional core allows for some real smooth pressing. Available in sizes 52, 56, 58 and 60, the Factor has a matt black topsheet with fluorescent orange inlays.
